Dear Artist,

The Art Sanctuary team invites you to propose a collaboration for the international event ‘The Enchanted Garden 2025’ at Jodoigne, Belgium. It integrates sculptures with other artistic expressions, such as poetry, music, dance, and why not theatre?
We are publishing an electronic book of poetry with photos of the sculptures as an electronic catalogue.

‘The Enchanted Garden’ takes place for the twelfth time during the summer of 2025 in a poetic sculpture garden with water, contrasts, and surprises in abundance. It is located halfway between Brussels, Liège and Namur and on the ‘RAVEL’ cycle path linking Leuven, Tienen, Hoegaarden, Jodoigne and Namur.

The working theme for 2025 is:
Transparency, colours, dreams

Dates for the 2025 season (to be confirmed):
• Introduction: mid-April to mid-June 2025, to be confirmed
• First period: mid-June to mid-August 2025
• Second period: mid-August to mid-October 2025

In 2025 Art Sanctuary will create a tourist trail linking several interesting and high-quality sites. We will integrate the sculptures into the specific setting of these sites. The rotation of some of the sculptures will increase the visibility and sales of the works. It invites visitors to discover the exhibition as a whole.

Our team invites poets, musicians, singers, etc. to present high-level cultural events such as walking concerts. We try to organise cultural events twice a month in collaboration with Au Moulin de Délices.

You can find all the details on our websites: www.the-enchanted-garden.info in three languages, www.facebook.com/SanctuaryArt, ... Hundreds of other websites are publishing information about the exhibition.

The visitors are coming from all over Belgium and even from neighbouring countries. They come several times during the season, each time accompanied by other people.

This year, the Art Sanctuary team is working together with a number of high-quality organisations in Wallonia and Flanders, including schools, art academies, companies, groups and cultural centres.

We ask you to send your proposal for collaboration (photos of typical sculptures, profile, references, website, etc.) by Monday 23 December 2024 to Ignace Clarysse, - organiser, - by e-mail info@ignace-clarysse.com.
You can receive more information by telephone +32 (0) 493 628 540 or by e-mail.
Based on the proposals, the selection committee will choose the artists and works for the different periods of the exhibition.

Information for the sculptors: During the exhibition, the sculptures are shown outside. We advise buyers to put small sculptures indoors during the winter months. Half of the works purchased are bought for indoor display.
We like sculptures that combine varied materials. We specialise in glass sculptures. They combine perfectly with and enhance artworks in other materials such as ceramics, bronze, metal, etc.

Information for the poets: We are asking you to create new poems that communicate with the works in the garden. After selection, around fifty poems will be published in an electronic collection as a catalogue (if we find sponsors, a paper version of the anthology of poems or poems printed on glass panels are possible)

We would ask you to send us before Monday 23 December 2024 your detailed proposal for collaboration to Ignace Clarysse, - organiser, - by e-mail info@ignace-clarysse.com.
