Every summer, Het Bankje brings surprising stories to small benches in Flanders. From July 1 to August 31, it was time for a new batch of stories. 89 visual artists, writers and theater artists joined forces and brought 20 podcast stories to life.

Benches with a story

In 2020 OPENDOEK launched Het Bankje, a project that brings theater and art to you. Via a QR code on benches scattered throughout Flanders, you can listen to intriguing stories that (perhaps) took place in the place where you are sitting. After two successful summers it was time for a third round. An overview of all stories can be found on the website of Opendoek.
