1. Our offer

1.1 The prices for the services (events, sessions, series, etc.) or products (such as a subscription to art letters) that we offer for sale on our site are inclusive of VAT. The delivery costs for products are included in the stated price, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

1.2. We pay close attention to the accurate description of the products and services, the price, and other terms. If there is an error in the description of our products and services, the price and/or other terms, you have the choice to either refrain from purchasing or to still proceed with the purchase under improved conditions.

1.3. We reserve the right to change the prices of our products and services and the frequency of our magazine Kunstwerkt at any time. We will always inform you of these changes.

1.4. The subscription to our magazine ‘Kunstletters’ consists of 4 editions per year subscription.

2. Purchase and reservation

2.1. You can only place an order if you are of legal age. If you are still a minor, only your parents or legal representative can place your order.

2.2. You can only validly accept our offer if you first provide all the required information, necessary for the registration of participation in the activity or product, and accept these terms and conditions. You can enter into a subscription in your own name or give a subscription to a third party. In the event of death, there is the possibility to transfer the subscription and possibly have it delivered to another address. If you do not wish this, the subscription will be stopped.

2.3. Your purchase is made at the prices we communicate at that moment in our online shop, by clicking on the order button. Each order is considered as an unconditional acceptance of the offer.

3. Duration and termination of subscription

After the minimum duration (e.g. 4 issues in a year subscription) your subscription will automatically stop. You will receive an email from us with a proposal to renew your subscription.

4. Cancellation terms for participation in events and activities

The cancellation terms for participation in events, sessions or activities are included in the document 'cancellation terms'.

5. Payments

5.1. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you can always register online for an event or subscription. All purchases and registrations are paid via bank transfer or online payment. When the payable price cannot be debited from your account (insufficient balance, incorrect account number, technical problems, etc.), the sale is considered not to take place.

5.2. In case of premature termination of your subscription, the residual value will be charged in one go.

5.3. If you make use of the right of withdrawal for our products, the price you paid will be refunded to your bank account within 14 days following the withdrawal.

5.4. Online payments are made through our certified partner Mollie. By using this service, you agree to the general terms and conditions of Mollie. Please consult the general terms and conditions of Mollie here.

6. Right of withdrawal for products

6.1 You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within a period of 14 days without giving any reason. This period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or someone else in your place) receives the first item in your possession. For example, the first issue of your subscription.

6.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us in an unambiguous manner that you have decided to withdraw from our agreement. You can do this by emailing info@kunstwerkt.be or sending by post to Kunstwerkt, Nederpolder 2 9000 Gent.

6.3. We will refund you everything within 14 days after you have informed us of the withdrawal.

6.4. This right of withdrawal does not apply to our events, sessions and activities as this is regulated in the cancellation terms.

7. Delivery

7.1. We will do our utmost to deliver the products that you purchase within the indicated delivery time after your purchase to the address you provided.

7.2. The delivery will be made to the address you provided when making your purchase. A change of address can be communicated via info@kunstwerkt.be.

8. Your privacy

Your personal data will only be processed in the context of registration of the purchase or reservation, information about the activity for which you registered, possible extension of your subscription or possible promotion of similar products (soft opt-in). If we wish to use your data for promotion of our offer or other reasons, we will always ask for your consent. All information about our privacy policy can be found in the privacy statement.

9. Finally

9.1. These terms and conditions, together with the cancellation terms for our services and the privacy statement, govern the contractual relationship between you as a customer and Kunstwerkt vzw. You declare that you are familiar with and unconditionally accept the terms and conditions and cancellation terms.

9.3. The law of 1 September 2004 on consumer protection in the sale of consumer goods is applicable.

9.4. If a dispute arises between us that we cannot resolve, it will be referred to the courts in Ghent, with the application of Belgian law.
