During the weekend of 4, 5 and 6 October 2013, Ghent was totally captivated by The Big Draw. Everyone was invited to draw. Kunstwerkt, S.M.A.K. and CIRCA brought the international drawing festival The Big Draw to Belgium for the first time. It turned out to be an instant hit.

Workshops, exhibitions, lectures, drawing initiatives and film screenings were happening all over the city. On top of that, you were challenged to think about the discipline itself.
For the Big Window Walk, draftsmen and illustrators gave their best efforts on more than a hundred windows. Due to the great success of this window drawing walk, it became a constant within the festival.
A grafitti workshop for seniors (Grafitti Bastards at STAM), draw a huge vase at the Design Museum or participate in a drawing marathon? All of this was possible.
