Art in Motion: draw along at Dansstorm
Let your brushes and pencils dance. We join forces with Danspunt and merge the art of dancing with the visual arts during the festival Dansstorm. Join us and bring your dancing inspiration to life on canvas and paper.
DANSSTORM is Danspunt’s travelling dance festival. For the first edition in 2021 they stormed Kortrijk with dance. The second edition will be in Mechelen, from the 15th until the 17th of September 2023. The programme with performances, short films and dance initiations already looks impressive and you can check it out here.
On 16 September, we will go there ourselves to draw and paint.
Get inspired by a wide array of dance performances, workshops and more in squares and parks in the city center. Step into the vibrant atmosphere and let the dancing energy fuel your artistic spirit. You are free to choose what inspires you, whether it is dance moves, dancers, or the overall vibe. Our expert drawing/painting guiding instructor will kick start the day, providing you with invaluable guidance and insights to help channel your creative vision.
But the journey doesn't end there.
Saturday evening, your artwork will be displayed on a dedicated wall, showcased for all to enjoy until the end of the festival. A perfect opportunity to share your talent and inspire others throughout the entire event.
