Driedee
Kunstwerkt and Kunsthal Mechelen are launching the open call Driedee, a project dedicated to visual art that explores length, width, and depth. Do you play with these three dimensions in your work? Do you push beyond conventional boundaries? How do shape, size, and weight influence your creations? Driedee seeks to explore these edges and boundaries.
Whether through fragile installations, robust sculptures, wall-mounted objects, or spatial creations on a pedestal. With Driedee, we look for a way to play between the three dimensions, across techniques.
The selected pieces will be exhibited from 13 December 2024 to 2 March 2025, in the spaces of Kunsthal Mechelen, in collaboration with students from the Curatorial Studies program at KASK Ghent.
