On the 29th of August 2020, some 70 participants headed towards the Zwin Nature Park (Knokke). In the middle of the biotope of the black-headed gull, stork and redshank people gathered in front of easels, brushes and paint tubes. In this studio on location, everyone imagined themselves to be a landscape painter for one evening.
Under the watchful eye of experienced outdoor painter Nils Verkaeren, some 70 participants braved the open nature of the Zwin in Knokke. While some sought their spot in the open air with a preconceived plan, others let themselves be guided by the moment. And that led to unique results.
